Book Club

You asked for it!!
This will be an online Club...everyone will read the same book and we will have our discussions here on the blog.
I'll pick the first one, but I need suggestions for the rest.
The first book will be The Chocolate War, by Robert Cormier. Come by the library to check out a copy.
Any suggestions for other books?

Here's a summary for you:

The Chocolate War, by Robert Cormier - Does Jerry Renault dare to disturb the universe? You wouldn't think that his refusal to sell chocolates during his school's fundraiser would create such a stir, but it does; it's as if the whole school comes apart at the seams. To some, Jerry is a hero, but to others, he becomes a scapegoat--a target for their pent-up hatred. And Jerry? He's just trying to stand up for what he believes, but perhaps there is no way for him to escape becoming a pawn in this game of control; students are pitted against other students, fighting for honor--or are they fighting for their lives?

Okay, 2 books that would be good book club reads are SEEKER, by William Nicholson (a Tayshas book), and I,ROBOT by Isaac Asimov.

I've heard "Seeker" is good. What's it about?

What about doing a book study on Stephanie Meyer's (author of Twillight) new book, The Host. It isn't out yet, but it would be fun to do a book study on a brand new book. Anyway that is my .02!
