B2M: Stardust - February 26th

I LOVE this movie!! If you don't like it, don't tell me, 'cause I will totally argue with you! :-) You can watch trailer below and check the book out from the library. Make sure to read it before the meeting!

I don't think she will write anymore, but I do want to know more about Snape. Talk about a deep character! Pulled between feelings for Harry's mom, hatred for Harry's dad, loyality to Albus and Voldermort, not to mention the complex triangle involving the Malfoy family (him and Narcissa?). Reading more about him would add more dimention to Harry and the problems he faces. Just a thought.

I'm thinking of adding "I Am Legend" to the B2M list for next semester. Any thoughts on that one? Has anyone seen it yet? Or read the book?

*Didn't know I Am Legend was a book* I would have to say a series of unfortunate events just cause I havn't read the books yet. :/

i've read it, i've read it, and i believe it would be a great B2M, and abooout the H.P thingy, i dont think she'll write n'e thing more, she already has too much $$$ to deal with, but it would be great to have the diary of He who must not be named A.K.A Voldamort, to see what he was do'n in the unmarked times in his life.

ok, we're definitely doing Lemony Snicketts for the first one. Meeting Jan. 30th...a Wed.
I think the next one will be Stardust (my new fav. movie).

Okay, about Stardust, does anybody know if it's appropriate for ypunger kids? Because I'd like to see it, but I have to know wether or not it's okay for an 8 year old.
